Located in an old house in the center of the village, this museum aims to safeguard and to make known all that constituted the life of our ancestors.
Discover this unique collection of miniature mountain tools and traditional local objects. Not to be missed, the interactive displays give an idea of the alpine flora and fauna to be found in the mountains.
The museum area, covering an area of 120m², presents: the link between the activity of farmers in the Val d'Arly, the operation of the dairy cooperative and our cheese know-how.
Established within a mill which has been completely renovated, come and discover Flumet's daily life via this museum : photos, traditional household objects, old costumes and a little cafe.

Follow the footprints of History during this guided tour of La Giettaz village. You will discover the importance of this place, remote but frequented since the Antiquity. Roman markers punctuated on the surrounding summits are the remains of this epoch.

Tour the miller’s house which is linked to the mill, with its exhibition of old pictures and materials from the mill’s fascinating history. The house can be visited on its own or as part of a guided tour of Flumet.
Production and sale of goats cheeses and Beaufort. Guided tours (FOC) on Thursdays at 5 pm during the winter.
On-site production and sale of Reblochon and Tomme cheeses. Visits by reservation on winter. Credit card payment.
Manufacture and sale of goat cheese. Discover the farm from november to march in hamlet La Poulière and during summer the mobile milking in St Nicolas la Chapelle.
Cheese making, sale of farm-produced reblochon, tommes and tommettes, raclette, home-made jam. In the summer it is possible to see cheese making in operation at the Bogneuve alpine farm, on the route des Montagnes, Chaucisse.
