The programme of events in the village-resorts of Val d'Arly
With the extremely wide variety of events organised by our four resorts, everyone is sure to find something to enjoy. This is our way of ensuring your holiday will be truly memorable.
SPORTS EVENTS
22nd to 23rd December 2005 - Kids Montagne Adventure at Crest-Voland, multi-activities programme including snow sports and nature.
January 2006 - ”Micro-pousse” Grand Prix at Flumet
End January 2006 - Snowscoot World Championships at Notre Dame de Bellecombe
9th to 15th January 2006 – Winemakers Ski Championships at Crest-Voland Cohennoz
21st to 22nd February 2006 - Rossignol Demotour at Crest-Voland, equipment tests open to the public
11th and 12th March 2006 - “Ambiance Raquettes” Weekend at Notre Dame de Bellecombe (to be confirmed). Outings, exhibition, “snowshoe challenge evening”, events, etc.
FESTIVE AND GASTRONOMIC EVENTS
18th to 25th December 2005 - Father Christmas Week at Notre Dame de Bellecombe.
Children's show, children's workshops, snow event and special evening on 24/12. Lantern-light parade, arrival of Father Christmas in his sleigh, presents for children, torchlight descent and mulled wine.
From 14th to 21st January 2006 - Saint Vincent Week at Notre Dame de Bellecombe
The resort celebrates Saint Vincent, patron saint of winemakers, and rediscovers the best of Savoyard cuisine and traditions. Welcoming drink, dance, “Gallic Soup”, cookery demonstration by the resort’s chefs and tasting, aperitif-ball, street entertainment, torchlight descent and mulled wine.
CONCERTS
21st and 22nd January 2006 - “Guitar in the Mountains” Weekend at Notre Dame de Bellecombe – One-off concert on Saturday 21st January 2006 at the “salle polyvalente”.
WELL-BEING WEEKEND
26th and 27th February 2006 - Well-being Weekend at Notre Dame de Bellecombe.
“Organic-living” in all its forms: food, living space, health. Exhibitions, market, sophrology workshops, organic snack bar, seminars, massages, etc.
As well as these events, each village-resort organises:
- Welcoming drinks receptions
- torchlight descents with mulled wine
- Concerts in churches
- Cinema evenings
- Traditional fireside evenings and theatre presentations with folk groups
- Evening snowshoe outings with fondue in a mountain chalet
