The four village-resorts of Val d'Arly also organise numerous activities for non-skiers and for après-ski. We offer a wide range of events , to ensure we meet everyone's expectations.
Footpaths for peaceful strolls!
Explore our villages on foot and discover their signposted walks, or take a chairlift to the summits and get closer to the mountains: between Mont Rond and Plan Dessert at Notre Dame de Bellecombe.
A superb agricultural landscape
The Val d'Arly still has a great many working farms. The valley's farmers change hats in winter, becoming excellent ski instructors, mountain guides or mountain leaders, although they still keep a watchful eye on their farms and animals. Val d'Arly is at the centre of the Reblochon, Beaufort and Chevrotin AOC cheese-making areas, and many dairy farms are open to visitors - where better to taste these famous cheeses? Some farms also provide gourmet snacks of homemade delicacies. There is no better way to end a day's hiking.

Cultural activities
Cinema, libraries, guided visits of the Baroque churches at St Nicolas la Chapelle, Flumet and La Giettaz en Aravis, museums (see heritage page), etc. There is always something to see or do in Val d'Arly!

Paragliding, dog-sledding, climbing, etc... Val d'Arly Mont Blanc is a paradise for sports fanatics!

Encouraged by the success of the first edition, the village of Notre Dame de Bellecombe is reorganising a second “Organic” salon, with, amongst other attractions, an introduction to the different massage techniques currently in vogue.
