The village-resorts of Val d'Arly and their local museums

The Miller’s House and Flumet Museum

The Mill, at Tienne below the village, is one of Savoie’s most important mills. An exhibition in the Miller’s House explains the workings of the mill and the infrastructure around it: the old dam on the Arly and the mill cable car from the miller’s house. Open to the public since 2002, the house contains the miller’s tools, old photographs and the grain museum. Flumet Museum contains a superb exhibition of traditional dress.
