Accessibility: shuttle, village stop Departure: Les Biolles district (departure on snow) From the ski bus stop near the Church, take the main street of the village for 200 m, then at La Poste take a left towards The Biolles. Arrived at the crow's feet, turn left and continue until the bend. In it take a right towards the cabin of the Biolles ski lift. Pass by the chalet and then climb in the direction of the Verdette ski lift. Pass to the left of the ski lift and enter the Faÿ wood to make the loop. Return to Biolles and the village by the same route as the outward journey. TO KNOW: The télé-traîneau, a tracked vehicle still visible at the foot of the Reguet piste in the village center, is the station's first ski lift. Dating from 1937, it could transport 20 people with their skis to the top of the Reguet in 20 minutes. It was replaced in 1948 by a new ski lift device "the ski lift". The télé-traîneau is a unique model in France.

From the arrival station of the Mont-Rond chairlift, follow the ski slope to reach the crest of Mont-Rond. Then walk on the ridge along the track towards the Lac du Guï. Arrived at the crossroads located above the Lake, turn right to descend by the Chemin du Chapet, continue towards Arcanière and Les Frasses. Return to the hamlet of Mont-Rond by skibus from the La Boulangère stop (hamlet of Frasses). TO KNOW : Take care when leaving the Mont-Rond chairlift, this route runs alongside the Alpine ski area. Watch out for skiers.

From the ski bus stop, go up the street to the last houses, turn right into the forest. At the crossroads "Le Golet", turn right towards "Plan du Drayon". At this crossroads, turn right and descend in the direction of "Chemin de la Peignière" then join the road to the hamlets of Planay and Mond-Rond (1 km, 15 min). You can then use the skibus shuttle to return. TO KNOW : When Savoy became French in 1860, a free zone, exempt from taxes, was created. The border of this area was located in the heart of Val d'Arly. The inhabitants then organized a vast smuggling network. Smugglers, to divert customs officials, used certain tricks such as inverting the soles of their shoes to simulate the opposite direction of movement or using strings to discreetly pull the goods.

From the ski bus stop, go up the street to the last dwellings, turn right into the forest. At the crossroads of Golet, take straight to climb in the direction of Roc des Evettes and Col du Drayon. At the pass, turn right to descend towards "Le Plan du Drayon". From there, continue straight into the forest to reach "Le Golet". The return to the hamlet of Lachat is then by the same route as the outward journey. TO KNOW: From the Col du Drayon, you can descend to the Plan Désert road and reach the hamlets of Planay and Mont-Rond on foot by road (1 km / 15 min). You can then use the skibus shuttle to return.

From the small car park downstream from the road, descend by the forest track for around 500 m. Arrived at the crossroads "Sous Covetan", turn right and walk in a forest atmosphere for 2 km. At the end of the track, go up on a path on some laces. Take a right to return to the starting point passing near a chalet. From there, there is a beautiful view of Mont-Charvin and the Aravis range. Continue on this false flat until the Covetan car park (possibility of reaching the Saisies station from Covetan: 3 km, 1 hour return). TO KNOW : The Covetan trail, snowshoe route in winter, is a thematic trail on wetlands in summer. This space, between Covetan and the Lachat plateau, is a group of peat bogs, part of which has been classified since 2013 as a Regional Nature Reserve. This environment is sometimes called "Little Lapland" because of the numerous plant species it contains present in Scandinavia.

From the ski bus stop, take the small road to the right that serves Georgières and Les Coins. At this hamlet, descend to the place of the first snowshoe beacon. Arrived at a chalet, turn right and continue to cross over the small bridge of the Nant du Milieu. Then climb in the direction of Favrays, cross the D218b road (caution). Cross the hamlet of Favrays. At Les Favrays, take the path and continue towards Cheloup. Cross the D218b road again (caution) and descend by the Chemin des Nantets. Continue to the village. Return by the same route or by the skibus shuttle. TO KNOW : Between the 11th and 12th centuries, Benedictine monks settled in these places. They will be at the origin of major clearings: exploitation of firewood and construction, creation of meadows. These are the activities that have given this country its appearance today. At the time, the village was named Sainte Marie des Déserts. The popular name Belle Combe was officially used in the 15th century at the request of the inhabitants.
