Marie-Ange Leurent is organist at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette church in Paris. She studied organ with Gaston Litaize (CNR de St. Maur) and Michel Chapuis at the Paris Conservatoire, where she was awarded first prize.
Titular organist of the great organ of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette since the age of 22, she is also organ teacher at the Conservatoire de Clichy after having taught at the Sorbonne. Passionate about teaching, she composed Proverbesen musique pour chorale d'enfants (Proverbs in Music for Children's Choir), which was released as an attractive CD performed by the Petits Chanteurs de Notre-Dame-de-Lorette (Chanteloup Musique 2014), and les tables de multiplication en chansons (Multiplication Tables in Songs) (Chanteloup Musique 2019) and les verbes au présent en chansons (Present Tense Verbs in Songs) (2020). She forms a renowned duo with Éric Lebrun. After recording the complete organ works of Buxtehude (Grand prix Charles Cros, best performers of the year
2007), Boëly (Choc du Monde de la Musique), Litaize and Mozart, they are currently working on the complete works of Bach (seventeen albums already released).
