A legendary cycle route combining effort and beauty: climb to the Glières plateau, magnificent views, unspoilt nature and traces of history. An authentic sporting adventure in the heart of the Alps.
You will be accompanied by qualified cycling instructors. Assistance and a follow car will be part of the programme.
Meeting at 8.00 a.m. for an 8.30 a.m. start.

Departure from La Giettaz - – Col des Aravis – La Clusaz – St jean de Sixt - Entremont – Les Glières - Entremont – St Jean de Sixt - La Clusaz - Col des Aravis- La Giettaz : 66km/1895m+
* Challenging sections:
- Col des Aravis climb
Distance: 6 km, elevation gain: 450 m, average gradient: 6.2%
- Glières climb
Distance: 9.7 km, elevation gain: 800 m, average gradient: 8.3% (max 16%)
A demanding climb on gravel paths and secondary roads. The first 4 kilometres are rolling but gradually steepening. The central section has several technical and narrow passages, with tight bends and sections with gradients of over 9%. The final section crosses open mountain pastures, offering spectacular views of Mont Blanc before reaching the plateau at 1,450 m.
- Ascent of the Col des Aravis via the north side, which is easier but will still take its toll at the end of the route with its 10 km and 500 m elevation gain, average gradient of 5%, with a maximum of 7.5%.
The organisers reserve the right to modify the route according to weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.
All participants must provide proof that they are fit to practise cycling.
Each participant must have a medical certificate that proves their ability to cycle that dates from 2026 or no longer than one year ago.
No registration will be taken into account if the file is incomplete.
