Family hike (bring your own picnic), then observation away from the lights to learn to recognise the planets and constellations under the Shooting Stars of summer, with Sandrine Coulaud, qualified mountain guide.
The mountains, far from the interference of light, are ideal for observing the starry sky. Every year, from mid-July to mid-August, the Earth will pass through a cloud of dust created by the comet Swift-Tuttle in its orbit around the Sun, which will reveal a multitude of shooting stars that can easily be observed at night.
