A demanding and scenic cycle route: after warming up, an alternative to the legendary Bisanne 1500 climb reveals its spectacular hairpin bends and views of the Beaufortain. A sporting challenge combining effort, altitude and magnificent landscapes.
You will be accompanied by qualified cycling instructors. Assistance and a follow car will be part of the programme.
Meeting at 8.00 a.m. for an 8.30 a.m. start.

Departure from La Giettaz – Flumet – Héry sur Ugine – Ugine – Césarches – Queige – Bizanne 1500 – Col des Saisies – Notre Dame de Bellecombe – Flumet – La Giettaz: 79km, 2300m+
* Difficult sections:
Bisanne climb – Technical profile
Km 0-3: gentle slope 4-5%, gradual warm-up, ideal for getting into your rhythm.
Km 3-6: average gradient 6-7%, regular hairpin bends, sustained but manageable effort.
Km 6-9: sections at 8-9%, tight bends, your heart rate starts to rise.
Km 9-12.4: final section at 9-10%, legs are pushed to the limit, cadence and gear ratio must be managed to maintain efficiency.
Overall data: 12.4 km, 850 m elevation gain, average gradient 6.9%, maximum gradients 10%.
Technical advice: maintain a steady cadence, anticipate bends, and manage your effort over the last few kilometres to avoid premature fatigue.
The return to La Giettaz will be a mere formality.

All participants must provide proof that they are fit to practise cycling.
Each participant must have a medical certificate that proves their ability to cycle that dates from 2026 or no longer than one year ago.
No registration will be taken into account if the file is incomplete.
