Around 5.4 km with an average gradient of nearly 10 per cent from Bonneville, with sections exceeding 13 per cent. A first real test for the legs! - The Col de la Colombière. Starting from Scionzier, you’ll have a 2 km warm-up. From Blanzy, the going gets tough with 1.1 km at 5 per cent, followed by 2 km at 8 per cent and finally 1 km at 6.5 per cent. You’ll need to make the most of a generous 3-kilometre stretch of gentle gradient (between 2 and 3 per cent) all the way to Le Reposoir, as the second half of this climb will be anything but easy: 7.3 km at an average gradient of 8.5 per cent! It’s the final 3 km that will seem to drag on forever – a gruelling finish with 2 km at 9.5 per cent, followed by the final 800 metres at 10.5 per cent to reach the Col de la Colombière. The organisers reserve the right to modify the route according to weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances. All participants must provide proof that they are fit to practise cycling.
