Description

Emile Dubois invites you to discover a distant planet as you journey through an exhibition of wooden toys. The artist carves tree trunks in the same way that he strings words together to transport you to the distant world of the planet Dubois.
It is through dreaming that we can travel to this imaginary planet. Faced with the major crises we are experiencing on Earth, it is through play that we can imagine our future. Let us rediscover hope in the face of this society that has already moved beyond our crucial stage of evolution. Despite the imaginary nature of this distant world, some will draw parallels with the upheavals they are currently experiencing in their daily lives. A production rich in its set design, crafted from fine materials, which tackles, in a light-hearted manner, social issues such as ecology, the impact of climate change and the way our societies function on our lives. These topics challenge our social perceptions regarding the importance of life and what we make of it.
