    Departure from La La Giettaz – Col des Aravis – Thônes – Col de la Croix Fry – Col des Aravis -La Giettaz : 52km/1500m+

    * Difficult sections :
    The first minor difficulty is the Col des Aravis from the village of La Giettaz, a 6km climb on a relatively even gradient that can still reach 8% in places.
    The second major difficulty is the ascent of the Col de la Croix Fry via Manigod, a 13km climb with an average gradient of 6.5%. It will be fairly easy all the way to Manigod, but watch out just after this hamlet for the big section of 2.6km at 9%. After that, you'll have to hold your nerve on the final section, which will remain at around 7-8%.
    The return via the other side of the Aravis mountains will be a mere formality.
