We are in Flumet, in 1914, in the heart of the Val d'Arly. On the farms, the mules are hard at work. They carry, they pull, they work hard... All except Flambeur, the mule who saves his silky mane for the big mule breed competition. For his owner, the clumsy farrier, every day is an opportunity to visit the farms in the valley... and finally put Flambeur to work. He's a real mule!
