Flambeur is a mule from Flumet, and he thinks he's the most beautiful on the planet. Through his adventures, you'll delve into the history of the Val d'Arly and the mule breed, an essential part of our valley's heritage.
The Tourist Office presents its new show, produced by the theatre company ‘En Visite Simone’. Songs, adventures and manes... all inspired by true stories.
We are in Flumet, in 1914, in the heart of the Val d'Arly. On the farms, the mules are hard at work. They carry, they pull, they give their all... All except Flambeur, the mule who reserves his silky mane for the big mule breed competition. For his owner, the clumsy farrier, every day is an opportunity to visit the farms in the valley... and finally put Flambeur to work. A real mule!
The Flumet mule breed, medieval lords, the military and agricultural destinies of mules, the Arly Gorges trail... discover a little more about the history of the Arly Valley and its villages with your family.
