Description
Family hike with picnic in the mountains and stargazing away from the city lights to learn how to recognise the planets and constellations under the summer shooting stars, with Sandrine, a qualified mountain guide and astronomy enthusiast.
The mountains, far from the interference of light, are ideal for observing the starry sky. Every year, from mid-July to mid-August, the Earth will pass through a cloud of dust created by the comet Swift-Tuttle in its orbit around the Sun, which will reveal a multitude of shooting stars that can easily be observed at night.
Equipment: walking shoes or good sneakers, very warm clothes, torches, water.
Bring your own picnic.
Elevation: 300 m.
Registration required before 12:00 p.m. the same day
