In *Regards croisés* (Intersecting Gazes), Saro constructs a portrait from a multitude of images assembled like a mosaic. Each fragment holds its own identity, yet stepping back reveals the face of a woman within the whole. The artwork invites a shift in perspective, reminding us that every detail contributes to a broader vision. The eye is immediately drawn to the ski goggles, which reflect the snow-capped mountains of the Val d'Arly. This landscape anchors the mural in its local setting, establishing a dialogue between the depicted figure and the surrounding environment. The portrait thus becomes a window opening onto the peaks.
