Description

Jordan Harang composes a landscape where familiar mountains drift into a surreal realm. Blending mineral textures, organic forms, and subtle silhouettes, the mural invites the viewer on a journey of contemplation.
On the wall, Jordan Harang unfolds an imaginary landscape where points of reference waver. Hovering between a polar vision and a surrealist universe, the mural blends figurative elements, graphic shapes, and more abstract textures, creating a space where reality seems to undergo a gradual transformation. The mountains initially evoke the immediate surroundings, before the scene shifts into unknown territory, blurring the perception of space and time. Night coexists with day, while mineral matter appears to come alive, turning organic—almost animate. New forms emerge, inviting the eye to journey into the heart of a strange, vast landscape in a state of perpetual metamorphosis. Here and there, human silhouettes appear discreetly. Their presence deepens the scene's mystery and prompts us to question our own place within this environment. More than just a landscape to behold, *Soleil déchu* (Fallen Sun) invites us to explore a world where the imagination communes with the mountains, and where everyone is free to craft their own narrative.
